Workspace settings reference
Every setting in Settings, what it changes, and where the effect shows up.
Brand
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Company name | Used in AI replies, email signatures, and the widget header |
| Brand voice | Passed to the model on every generated reply |
| Logo | Shown in the widget and on email templates |
Brand voice is the setting most worth iterating on. See Create your workspace for how to write one.
Sender emails
Addresses your workspace may send from. An address becomes usable only when two things are true: you have proved you control it, and Amazon SES has verified the underlying identity.
Two ways to add one:
- Verify a single address. Kognit emails you a six-digit code, proving you control that mailbox.
- Authenticate a domain. Publish DNS records once, then send from any address at that domain.
A domain can be connected to one workspace only. If you see "already connected to another workspace", contact support rather than trying a different address.
See Verify your sending domain.
Ticket prefix
The reference prefix on every ticket (NW-1042). Set it before you go live.
Team
Invite, remove, and re-role teammates. See Roles and permissions.
API keys
Generate keys for programmatic access. Treat a key like a password — it acts as your workspace. Rotate immediately if one leaks.
See API keys.
Autopilot rules
Two numbers with real consequences:
- Auto-approve threshold — confidence above which a draft sends without review
- Hourly burst limit — the most automated replies that will be sent in one hour
The burst limit bounds the damage from a bad configuration. If something goes wrong at 3am, it caps how many customers see it. Leave it low until you trust the setup.
