Payment methods and invoices
Supported payment methods, where invoices live, and what happens if a payment fails.
Supported methods
Kognit bills through Stripe and Razorpay depending on your region.
| Method | Availability |
|---|---|
| Credit and debit cards | Everywhere |
| UPI, netbanking | India |
| Bank transfer | Enterprise plans, on request |
Your billing screen shows whichever processor applies to your account. You do not choose between them.
Updating a card
Billing → Payment method. Changes apply to the next charge; a payment already in progress is unaffected.
Update the card before it expires. An expired card causes a failed renewal, which is a worse experience than a two-minute update.
Invoices
Every charge produces an invoice, available under Billing and emailed to your account address.
To add a company name, address, or VAT/GST number, set them in your billing details before the next invoice is generated. Issued invoices cannot be retroactively amended.
If a payment fails
- The processor retries automatically over several days
- You are emailed each time
- If every retry fails, the workspace moves to reduced limits rather than being locked
Your data is not deleted for a failed payment. Update the card and normal limits return on the next successful charge.
Cancelling
Cancel from Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then the workspace reverts to Free limits.
Cancelling does not delete your data. If you want your data removed, request deletion explicitly — see Data and privacy.
Export anything you need first: contacts, and any ticket history you want to keep.
