Credits
Prepaid volume that covers usage beyond your plan's monthly allowance.
On this page
Credits and plan allowance are separate
They are two distinct meters and it is worth being clear about the difference:
- Plan allowance — included in your subscription, resets every billing period, does not roll over
- Credits — prepaid volume you buy separately, consumed as used, does not expire at period end
Your plan allowance is used first. Credits cover what goes beyond it.
When credits make sense
Seasonal spikes. A store whose November is four times its March should not pay for a Pro plan year-round. Buy credits for the peak.
One-off campaigns. A product launch that needs one large send.
Testing headroom. Room to experiment without a plan change.
When they don't: if you exceed your plan every single month, upgrading is cheaper than repeatedly buying credits. Credits are for irregular demand.
Buying
Billing → Credits. They are added immediately and are available for the next send.
Watching the balance
The credit balance is shown in Billing alongside your plan meters. Set yourself a reminder to check before any large campaign — running out mid-campaign means the send is refused, since a broadcast reserves its full volume up front.
Refunds
Credits are prepaid and non-refundable once purchased. Buy in amounts you expect to use rather than stocking up far ahead.
